ISB&M Pune Successfully Hosts Orientation Programme for Batch 2023-25
The International School of Business and Media (ISB&M), Pune, recently concluded its Orientation programme for new students from across India. The programme, which ran from 18th June to 25th June, welcomed around 300 students for the year 2023-25. The student-driven programme was led by Dr. Pramod Kumar, President of ISB&M Group of Institutes, and faculties - ISB&M Pune. The programme started with a corporate gala dinner on 18th June, providing students with an informal opportunity to interact with invited corporate guests. The guests included Mr. Deepayan Sensharma, Human Resources Director – BT Group, Mr. Akshay Kurhe - Product Owner, H&M, Mr. Vihar Inamdar -Vice President – Hdfc ERGO, Mr. Jagjeet Singh – Nation Manager – Bajaj Finserv, Mr. Vinod Shankar – Managing Director – Orenda Foods Pvt.Ltd, Mr. Kalyan Chakravarthy – AVP – IndiQube, Mr. Sourav Singh – Associate – BNY Mellon. During the dinner, the invited corporate guests shared their insights on the sector, and this helped the students get a better understanding of the corporate world.
The inaugural welcome address was given by Dr. Pramod Kumar, President, ISB&M Group of Institutes, followed by Dr. Saroja Asthana – Founder, Director, Mulshi Group of Institutes on 19th June. Following which the inauguration of the Orientation programme was done by Chief Guest Mr. Ashish Bhandari – MD & CEO – Thermax Limited, and the Guest of Honour – Mr. Navneet Bansal – CEO – JSW Global Business Solutions. This was followed by Keynote speaker Mr. Prasad Chavare – MD & CEO – Foseco India Limited. Apart from corporate interactions, the Orientation programme included a wide range of workshops conducted by corporates and institute’s faculties. According to Dr. Pramod Kumar, “ learning the ISB&M way has just begun for this batch with the OP”. "My Sweet Lime" workshop by Dr. Pramod Kumar and Dr. S. Jayaraman, was held as the inaugurating workshop on day1 which focused on confidence and overall personality development. The other workshops had varied themes such as Wealth Creation, wealth creation, life lessons, stress and time management, achievement orientation planning, goal setting and competitiveness, professional leadership program, learning by case-study method, and competitive performance and benchmark. Additionally, Dr. Pramod Kumar hosted a workshop emphasizing women's financial independence, aligning with ISB&M's history of producing global women achievers. The workshop aimed to promote a success-driven mindset and career-oriented approach among women in the current batch.
One of the most significant events of the Orientation programme was the Interaction with ISB&M Alumni (Face to Face with Achievers) programme. It featured alumni who shared their experiences and insights with the new batch of students. Moller ad Brajendra Kumar-Head of marketing-Kinetic Green. The program ended with a cultural night where the new fresh batch participated on 25th June night.
